Your on-line registration and submission of your abstract for either an oral or poster presentation will be found at http://srf.ohsu.edu when submission opens. The site will have instructions as well, and will be available from March 18, 2009 until the 22nd of April 2009. Your registration and abstract can be submitted from any computer with internet access on- or off-campus. Answers to “Frequently Asked Questions” about various topics are also available on the 2009 SRF Website - which also links you to the registration/abstract web site.
Complete information for submitting the abstract will consist of:
We will group your presentation with other similar presentations. To optimize grouping of presentations, please select at least four of the above topics that you feel pertain to your research.
The on-line process guides you through these requirements, alerting you whether your submission is complete or not. Once the abstract has been submitted, the author will be able to edit the abstract up until April 30th.
Results of both the Oral and Poster presentations will be announced and awards presented at the SRF Awards Reception on Friday, 15th of May. This year’s reception will be held at the Vey Conference Center in Doernbecher Children’s hospital south end on the 11th floor, and all students who presented an Oral or Poster presentation will be invited to attend and bring their mentor as a guest.
We hope that you will participate in this 26th annual OHSU Student Research Forum. It is a great opportunity to present your research to peers, faculty, and staff of OHSU, as well as OHSU alumni and visiting high school and undergraduate students.
Please join us in May!
